Ways to Increase your Job Responses

Actively applying for jobs is probably the best way to get the responses you desire, such as interviews, but occasionally you could go through a ‘dry-spell’ whereby you find you are not gaining any responses.

To make sure you get as many responses as possible, we’re providing you with a few pieces of advice:

  1. Adjust your CV to suit a different job role
  2. Create a new cover letter each time, rather than just changing the name of the company or HR manager.
  3. Set a target per day for the amount of jobs you need to apply for and exceed it.
  4. Ensure your CV includes: contact details, education, employment history, personality and achievements.
  5. Call back people who did not find you suitable and ask for feedback.
  6. Upload your CV to as many job websites as you possibly can.
